Installation of the Filter

Remark:
The new Betaversion of the VDub2RTFX-Plugin allows an easy installation and usage of all virtualdub filters. See details here: vdub2rtfx_V6

Download the file VDub_for_Studio_Setup and save it in a folder on your harddrive.

Open the folder with Windows-Explorer and start the setup with a double-click on VDub_for_Studio_Setup.exe.

The following window is showing up.

Here you can select the installation language. This selection determines the language of the filter edit dialog in studio 9 too.

The next window is the “Welcome”-window.

Click on “Next”.

Read the license agreement and click on “I accept the agreement”.

The following window provides some information about the effects you are going to install and how to deinstall erverything.

In the next window you specify the destination location of the installation.

Please enter here only the installation folder of your Studio 9 installation. The installation routine is finding the right subfolders for the installation itself. Normaly the default entry should be ok.

In the next window you can sekect the plugins you want to install. Or you may install all plugins at once (Full Installation) (

In the next window the setup program is presenting the selected settings for your approval.

If you have already installed some of my plugins it is possible that following message pops up:

Please click on “ignore”. The effect is already installed and you do not need to overwrite it again.

Dadadadahhh. You are ready. The plugins are installed.

After a restart of Studio 9, you will see a new category “HL’s VD-Filter” in your effect list. In the effects list you will find the selected effects. You may use  and edit these effects like the build in effects. For a description of the effects please refere to the examples list.
