Standardinstallation:

Download vdub_for_studio_setup and execute the setup program. Please find details on the page “Installation in Studio

Expert installation:

• As prerequisite for this filter you need to install the Vdub2RTFX-Plugin. Details for the installation see in the chapter Vdub2RTFX-Plugin
• Download the file “MSU_oldcinema.zip” and the file “MSU_oldcinema_v.xml” .
• Extract the MSU_oldcinema.vdf from the zip-archive.
• Save MSU_oldcinema.vdf and MSU_oldcinema_v.xml in the vdub2rtfx-plugin directory
• rename MSU-oldcinema.vdf to MSU_oldcinema_v.vdf (same name as the .xml-file)

Using the filter:

After starting Studio 9 you will find a filter groups “HLs VD-Filter”. In this group you will find the filter “MSU Old cinema”.

Select this filter and the filter editing window will open.

Click the edit button and the original edit window of the MSU old cinema filter will open.

In this windows you find a lot of options to play with. The best approach is starting with the presets and then trying the other options. Unfortunately is the direct preview still not working. So you have to click “OK” to see the result.

Remark:  The standard vdub2rtfx-plugin now supports this filter. The specialities are covered by the xml-file
