This effect adds a timer to the video. This could be usefull for sport events, if you want to show the time passing by.

After launching Liquid Edition, you’ll see in the effectlist a new categorie “HL’s VD-Filter”. In the effects list you will find the effect “Timer”.

The effect adds the timer to your video.

You can change the position, size, color and background color of the digits and the font

You can specify a start time for the timer and an end time, where the timer stops.

If you want to apply this effect over more than one clip and get a continous timer you have following choices:

• create one AVI from the clips and use the effct on this AVI
• add one transparent title to the clips and apply the timer to this title.
• set the start time of the adjacent clips to the end time of the predeceding clip.
